Professor Safdar holds an M.Phil. from MU University, where he specialized in research on Muslim Itba (physicians) and their timeless contributions to medicine. His academic brilliance is further reflected in his authorship of three authoritative books on Tib (traditional medicine) and Jirah (surgery), which continue to guide students, practitioners, and researchers alike.

Alongside his scholarly contributions, Professor Safdar actively practices medicine, offering consultations and treatments at his clinic, Al-Khair Shifa, located in Village Ladhewal, Tehsil Dipalpur, District Okara. Through his clinical services, countless patients have benefited from his expertise in Unani and herbal medicine.
